Mr. Ohabuike is a Senior Associate in the firm and is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Department. Daniel specialises in regulatory and compliance services, liaising and contacting government departments and ministries on clients’ behalf. He was a member of the legal team that advised the BPE in the proposed sale by the FG (through the BPE) of its 24% shareholding in Transitional Corporation Nigeria Plc, owners of Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, to the general public through an Offer for Sale. He was an integral member of the team that provided legal advice to 4Power Consortium, the preferred bidder for Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company in Nigeria
Mr. Ohabuike led the team that conducted Due-Diligence on Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and provided legal advisory services to a consortium of investors as part of the ongoing process being facilitated by the Central Bank of Nigeria to inject fresh equity into some distressed banks in Nigeria. He routinely reviews transaction documentation for clients in various industries particularly in the corporate, commercial and intellectual property sectors. He provides company secretarial and general legal advisory services to both individual and corporate clients.
